Our Equipment
Our fleet
We have a fleet of 16 sweepers regularly maintained and ready to do any job you have.
Elgin Broom BearBroom Street Sweepers use a conveyer to carry dirt & debris from the broom up into a hopper to be disposed of at an appropriate location. Beside the main broom, it has two side brooms for cleaning the curb and gutters. The Main Broom is typically made of Polypropylene plastic bristles. This broom is aggressive enough to scour through most packed down material such as washed-in dirt, wet sand, etc., but is softer than the asphalt or a sealcoat. The pavement wears out the brush within 200 hours of use. A fine mist of water is sprayed in front of the brooms to control dust. These are the most versatile of all sweepers. They can sweep clean through dirt up to 2-3 inches thick, and still are quick and maneuverable in light duty applications. With this machine you know when the street is swept it is clean and all the abrasives are removed.
Tymco 600Regenerative Air Street Sweepers - keep the air and dust in a closed loop. This keeps the fine particles such as fine abrasive silica dust, sand, mold and pollen allergens from being vented back into the atmosphere and onto the streets. They have sufficient blast to get most lightly adhered debris loose and tumbling so it can be picked up.They have no main broom, and rely on steel wire gutter brooms if they need to scour loose stuck down mud, etc. They perform slower than Brush Street Sweepers in moderate to heavy material.
Tymco 435
Armadillo PowerbossBrush Parking lot sweepers are much smaller. The brush throws the dirt directly into the hopper. Dust control is vacuum drawing the dusty air through filters to vent clean air. Maneuverability is unsurpassed. With the combination of the dry brush and the filtered vacuum nothing can provide a cleaner sweep. However they are very small, must dump frequently, and are too slow to be cost effective on large street projects. Cost of operation is about half that of a street sweeper but takes 3 times longer to do the job
